In 2023, the audience interested in ethical fashion is experiencing significant growth.
My idea was to create an app that helped users
find ateliers that met their needs
while ensuring excellent production quality.
So, I started working on this idea as a UX designer and researcher.
DESIGN for
Sustainable Fashion
Embracing ethical fashion is a crucial step towards a more sustainable and responsible future for the industry. By prioritizing ethical practices, we contribute to fair labor conditions, environmentally friendly production processes, and the well-being of communities involved in the supply chain. This shift not only aligns with our values but also promotes a positive impact on a global scale.
FOCUSING on
Ateliers
Equally significant is the emphasis on perfect fitting and personalized garments.
Clothing tailored to the unique dimensions of an individual not only enhances comfort but also fosters a sense of confidence and empowerment, acknowledging the diversity of body shapes and sizes. This focus on individuality in fashion promotes a more inclusive and
body-positive narrative.
MY ROLE
I led the design, research and prototype between March and November 2023.
This project was my graduate thesis for Google and Click Academy certifications.
THE START
– Does this app already exist?
– Who will use it?
– What do our users need most?
– Who are our competitors?
– What Challenges do we face moving forward?
